“There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.”

Maya Angelou

Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, leaving us struggling to cope with difficult emotions, relationship challenges, loss, anxiety, stress or major life changes. There are times when talking to friends or family, may not feel enough, and therapy can offer a confidential, supportive space where you are truly heard without judgement.

People come to counselling for many different reasons. You may be experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, relationship difficulties, trauma, low self-esteem, feelings of being stuck, or simply a sense that something in your life does not feel quite right. Therapy can also be a place for personal growth, self-discovery and developing a deeper understanding of yourself.

I provide a safe, compassionate and confidential space where we can explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences together at your own pace. As a qualified Integrative Counsellor, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches, allowing me to adapt the way we work to meet your individual needs. I believe that every person’s experience is unique, and therapy should reflect that individuality.

I offer both short-term and long-term counselling for adults aged 18 and over, online.

ABOUT ME

My journey into counselling has been shaped by both professional training and many years of supporting people through bereavement and life's most challenging experiences. I understand the courage it takes to ask for help and the importance of finding a counsellor with whom you feel safe and understood.

I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor and a registered member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) and the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I work in accordance with their ethical frameworks, ensuring that I provide counselling in a safe, professional and confidential environment.

My background is in law and languages, but my passion has always been supporting people through some of life's most difficult experiences. For more than sixteen years I have supported bereaved parents through my voluntary work with the Child Death Helpline. This experience has given me a deep appreciation of the importance of being heard, understood and supported during times of profound loss and emotional distress.

Alongside my private practice, I volunteer as a counsellor at a Cancer Support Centre, supporting people living with cancer as well as their family members and carers.

I believe that the relationship between counsellor and client is at the heart of effective therapy. My aim is to provide a warm, accepting and non-judgemental environment where you feel safe to explore whatever is important to you.
